KNIGHT FINTECH RAISES $23.6M SERIES A
Knight FinTech has reached a significant milestone in 2026 following the completion of its multi-tranche Series A fundraise, taking its total funding to over $30 million (₹270+ crore). The Series A round of $23.6 million (₹215 crore) was led by Accel, with participation from IIFL and Rocket Capital, alongside continued backing from Prime Venture Partners, 3one4 Capital, Commerce VC, and Trifecta Capital. The milestone marks an important chapter in a journey built steadily over years with resilience one rooted in execution, trust, and long-term thinking rather than overnight disruption.
In an economy shaped by expanding enterprise and rising consumer aspirations, access to responsible credit plays a defining role in how businesses grow, jobs are created, and economic value is sustained. Yet the challenge has rarely been demand; it has been the absence of dependable frameworks that can understand risk, enable trust, and deliver capital efficiently at scale. Knight FinTech was built to address this foundational need by creating the underlying infrastructure that connects banks, lenders, platforms, and borrowers, enabling capital to flow where it can create the greatest impact.
Often invisible to the end user, Knight FinTech’s infrastructure quietly powers large-scale credit and treasury management across the financial ecosystem allowing businesses and retail investors to access credit and institutions to lend with confidence. Built on principles of reliability, governance, and long-term strategic thinking, the company has earned the trust of leading financial institutions while building platforms designed to scale across geographies and support aspiration wherever capital seeks trust and structure.
Today, Knight FinTech powers one of India’s largest digital lending ecosystems, with a commanding 70% market share in digital co-lending infrastructure and category leadership in treasury automation and universal digital lending platforms. Some of its marquee clients include leading financial institutions like Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, UCO Bank, ICICI Securities, IIFL Finance, Kotak Prime, Bajaj Auto, Muthoot Fincorp, NABARD, and NSDL Payments Bank etc.
Its platforms empower 150+ partnerships across 85 lenders, enabling seamless credit journeys across co-lending, digital lending, and embedded finance, while supporting treasury operations for managing liquidity, market risk, borrowings and investments. In just a short span of the last three years, Knight FinTech has facilitated more than $7 billion in cumulative disbursements, and currently manages over $5 billion in active AUM, and continues to add nearly $1 billion in disbursements every quarter, sustaining 120% year-on-year growth for three consecutive years. On the treasury side, its platform manages staggering over $125 billion in assets, reinforcing its role as core financial infrastructure provider.
Speaking on the milestone, Mr. Kushal Rastogi, Founder & CEO, Knight FinTech, said, “We chose to keep innovation and client obsession at the centrepiece, while building business with strong unit economics, market resilience, reliable systems, and long-term valued partnerships. Knight FinTech is a multi-engine platform. Co-lending and Treasury are already operating at meaningful scale, while Embedded finance and Digital lending are accelerating rapidly. As all four engines come together, our ambition is to build category leadership across every segment we operate in, while staying deeply focused on execution quality and partner outcomes.”
The company’s Universal lending and co-lending platform supports over 20+ major loan types across retail, MSME and agriculture segments. The new capital will be deployed to further strengthen Knight FinTech’s AI-native product roadmap, with a clear focus on outcomes, better risk intelligence, fraud detection, automated credit underwriting, early-warning systems, portfolio monitoring, and debt recovery systems. These capabilities are designed to make India’s lending ecosystem more predictive, interoperable, and resilient as it continues to scale.
As part of its international expansion plans across the Middle East and APAC, Knight FinTech has onboarded Mr. Sanat Rao as an Investor & Board Advisor, who is also board member of Infosys Finacle (Edgeverve) and also its ex. Global CEO.
Knight FinTech is strongly positioned at capitalizing on its lenders and partners network, along with strong regulatory tailwinds to support credit to the underserved and unserved customer segments. Looking ahead, Knight FinTech aims to surpass $85 - 100 million in revenue, expand AUM beyond $50 billion in the next 4 years, while deepening its role as a preferred BankingTech partner for financial institutions in India and globally.
